What is a superfood?

A superfood is a nutrient-dense fruit or vegetable that contains a high content of antioxidants, protein, omega-3, minerals, fiber or other essential nutrients that have proven health benefits

What processing methods do you use with your superfoods?

Grass Root Naturals uses minimal processing in order to preserve the vital superfood nutrients of our foods. You can find additional information about the processing of our superfoods here.

Why is my product slightly different from order to order?

As with any minimally processed organic food, there can be a natural variance in appearance, scent, or flavor profile from crop to crop. Also, minor clumping may occur. This is a natural occurrence. Please gently shake to get the product back to it’s normal state.


Are your products GMO-free?

Are your products raw?

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure the lowest temperature processing for our premium superfoods. Since some heating is required to process our powders, we can not technically consider any of our products officially “raw”.

Our products are dried through various methods but the potency and flavor decreases over time so we don't recommend using past their expiration date.
